It’s great that manager Jason was able to confirm the baby cot that I had requested when making the reservation. Prior to check-in date, the hotel had contacted via phone and email for pre-arrival check. I’m sorry to say it wasn’t the best experience staying at HFC and i hope the management will improve the maintenance of the rooms in the future! However, the most enjoyable part of the entire staycay was definitely the bath tub! It was pretty huge and so was the space in the toilet! * Breakfast was quite disappointing because since it seemed that the restaurant were short staffed, the service was really below par :( And the food was pretty normal despite the additional ‘breakfast price’ that we were paying for the package.
EAGLE EYE SUITE NORTH OR SOUTH TV
* The tv was probably the most disappointing because it was pretty small for a huge room and very very limited channels so bring your tablet/laptop! * The wooden fixtures (including parquet flooring) in my room were not well maintained (with some damages here and there) and it was also quite dusty at some areas. * Wireless-controlled curtain was pretty old and quite dirty. * Windows overlooking the park was beautiful BUT the glass was very very dirty (externally) and it made the sight quite unappealing. But there were a few things that raised my eyebrows as I entered my premium room (room 344):
Walking into the lobby was still not bad, quite a nice sight because it of the colonial feels. 0.72km from Eagle's Eye Art Gallery Wow! It’s Hotel Fort Canning! That’s my first impression of HFC especially from the outside.
